Technology wise:

iPhone 5 sports a 1136 x 640 vs the iPhone 7 Plus which has a 1920 x 1080 screen.

The iPhone now has more storage capacity as it went from 16/32/64GB to 32/128/256GB.

8 hour talk time vs 21 hour talk time (quoted by Apple)

Physical home button vs haptic feedback home button.

The 5 doesn’t have water or dust resistant. The 7 and 7 Plus is rated IP 67.

The 5 doesn’t have a pressure sensitive screen while you have additional touch features with the newer iPhone.

8 megapixel vs 12 megapixel duo camera. F2.4. Vs F1.8.

Innovation:

I don’t see any new innovation in this new iPhone. Is it the best iPhone? Define best.

Did Apple change the way we think about smartphones back in 2007? Is Blackberry still making phone? In less than a decade, Apple was able to wipe out the king of smartphones that was Blackberry. The paradigm shift was the iPhone.

But just like the iPhone has killed Blackberry and probably Nokia, we can assume that something may be coming that will change the way to use smartphones.

The trend was cellphones became smartphone. What will the smartphone involve into?
